Company
Jane Abbott (She/Her) is delighted to be making Mischief once again. Favorite credits include the Chase Brock Experience, Mark Morris Dance Group, Keigwin + Company, Diavolo: Architecture in Motion, Trainor Dance and Olivia Palacios Dance. Selected theater credits include North Shore Music Theater (West Side Story, The Music Man), Flatrock Playhouse (Cabaret), the international tour of Legally Blonde: the Musical, and Joseph Medeiros' Odyssey Project. She holds a B.A. in Dance from Columbia University (CC 2018).
Maiko Adela (She/Her) is a native of Japan and holds a BFA in Dance Education from Ochanomizu National University of Japan. Falling in love with the diversity of dance in NYC, she relocated shortly after her graduation. Starting as an award-winning Latin Ballroom dancer, she was reintroduced and trained in Ballet, Modern techniques and Theatre Jazz in Steps On Broadway as a part of their international student program. She is currently a part of The Chase Brock Experience and Carolyn Dorfman Dance. She has also worked with wonderful choreographers such as Juel D. Lane, Karen Gayle, Richard Pierlon, Marie Meade, Lonne Moretton, and Marijke Eliasburg to name a few.
Mark Baker (He/Him) designs experiences in physical spaces using technology and story. As General Mischief’s Technical Director, he is proud of the company’s body of work and looks forward to future Mischief adventures. He has lost count of his many production designs over the years with Mischief, Kybele Dance, Invertigo, and many other concerts and events.
Ray F. Davis (He/Him) is a performer, choreographer and teacher, born in Jamaica and residing in Bronx, NY. A dance professional for 23 years, Ray is versatile and proficient in various styles of hip hop and many genres of partner and solo dances, such as Lindy Hop, salsa, jazz, and modern. Having trained and performed with multiple companies, Ray has travelled nationally and internationally to expand his knowledge and feed his passion for dance.
Mia DiChiaro (She/Her) is delighted to serve her 10th year with the company as Mischief Manager. She creates dance projects that encourage communities to explore imagination, empathy, and joy. She received an interdisciplinary B.A. in Performance and Arts Activism from NYU and M.A. in Contemporary Dance Performance from University of Limerick. @miaadichi
Pablo Eluchans (He/Him) was born and raised in Santiago de Chile, and studied with many of Chile’s best drummers, at Escuela Moderna de Musica, as well as at Berklee College of Music. He works as a freelance performer and recording artist, who has toured South and North America, The Caribbean, Europe and Asia. He has also recorded over 100 albums as a sideman, leader or co-leader, as well as DVDs, film scores, TV and radio jingles. He has toured South and North America, The Caribbean, Europe and Asia.
Liz Hepp (She/Her) is a dance artist and producer based in Brooklyn, New York. She has performed in works by Heidi Latsky, PeiJu Chien-Pott, Caitlin Trainor, Michelle Thompson Ulerich, Dusan Tynek, Erick Montes, and Jessica Ray. Liz creates whimsical dance-theater productions featuring giant props with Molly Gorin. She was a 2025 Fellow with NYU Production Lab’s Artist Development Program for Dance and holds a BFA in Dance from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
Kat Katona (She/Her) Kat is thrilled to be dancing with Mischiefs this season! Kat is also an ASL interpreter so you may have previously seen her interpreting on the side of the stage. Kat has performed in musicals regionally and in NYC. She is the proud founder of ASL Rocky NYC, the Rocky Horror Picture Show performed entirely in ASL. You also might find her swing dancing around town.
Saki Masuda (She/Her) Favorite credits include The King and I (Lincoln center production 1st national tour), Cats, The Little Mermaid, The Bodyguard, ELF, A Christmas Carol, Mary Poppins, Fiddler on the Roof (Co-choreographer), Annie, The Prince of Egypt, Madam Secretary (CBS), Blinders (Short film), Spirit Box (Film), Heidi Latsky Dance, General Mischief Dance, Nai-Ni Chen Dance, Xodus Dance, Nashville Symphony among others. Gratitude to my family in Japan. Love to our wonderful mischief makers and Pippin.
Richard Sayama (He/Him) Originally from Honolulu, Hawai’i, Richard Sayama graduated early from Marymount Manhattan College with a double major in B.F.A Modern Dance and B.A Business Arts & Management. He is currently both a MFA in Dance graduate student and an Adjunct Lecturer at Hunter College. He has toured internationally and domestically with companies such as Limón, Limón2, Jon Lehrer Dance Company, Obremski/Works, LaneCoArts, Valerie Green Dance Entropy, and many more.
Rosa Silva Gisbert (She/Her) Originally from La Paz - Bolivia, moved to NYC in 2014 to study at Steps On Broadway. Since then she has performed works for Max Stone, Julia Ehrstrand, Eveline Kleinjans, Jessica Lewis, Richard Pierlon, Plu Sayampol, Katherine McClintic, Brandon Coleman and The Next Stage Project dance company. This is her first season with General Mischief Dance Theatre.
Peter L. Trojić (He/Him) is a disabled dancer, actor, and accessibility consultant from New York City. He is a company member of Heidi Latsky Dance and has performed with General Mischief Dance Theatre since 2019. In addition to performing, Peter works to improve accessibility in the arts, focusing on more inclusive practices for artists and audiences. He believes that prioritizing accessibility from the beginning leads to stronger, more impactful art.
Emily Smyth Vartanian (She/Her) is General Mischief's Head Troublemaker. She is UCLA graduate in Dance/World Arts & Cultures, and her choreography has been presented at venues ranging from Radio City Music Hall to the House of Blues Sunset Strip. Emily loves working and playing with these remarkable artists. She hopes the show gives you a lift!
Alexandra Williamson (She/Her) is thrilled to be back making Mischief! She holds a BFA in Dance and a Musical Theatre minor from Montclair State University. A Meg Hunt Artist in Residence in Alaska, she has taught and performed at major festivals. She creates original work and dances with several companies, tours internationally, and has appeared on national television. Alexandra teaches at Hofstra and Montclair State. Her credits include Jacob’s Pillow and performances in Dublin, Ireland. @alexandra_dances
