Summer on the Hudson: Little Red Lighthouse Festival

Little Red Lighthouse Festival

Summer on the Hudson

Celebrate Manhattan’s only remaining lighthouse with the Urban Park Rangers, readings of the eponymous children’s book, live music, local organizations, and activities for all ages!

Featuring a special performance and dance lesson by General Mischief Dance Theatre from 3pm-3:45pm.

Additional performances by Moosiki Kids, Leadlights Ensemble, and a presentation of Jessica Ann Carp’s Little Red Lighthouse Musical.

As the Little Red Lighthouse is more than 140 years old and in need of care, it has been determined that the Lighthouse will again be only be open for a limited number of tours during this year’s Festival, led by the NYC Park Rangers! As in years past, tours will be first come, first served, with tickets distributed on site at 12pm. To safely and comfortably accommodate visitors, we have reduced the total number of visitors we can accommodate, and tours are limited to the first 200 attendees.

The Little Red Lighthouse is beloved by New Yorkers and visitors alike. Join us in our quest to ensure that the Little Red Lighthouse can safely receive visitors for years to come. Together we can keep the light shining!
